Beads
On her website Sharonb talks about a crazy quilt she made called "I dropped the button box". Well I didn't drop the buttons, only the bead box. After much crawling around on the floor, luckily tiled, I thought I had tracked down every bead, and I can't tell you how far some travelled. But, alas, no - I am still finding the stray bead here and there, little rolley beads that could spell disaster if trod on unwarily.

Been there done that - and found a solution! Take an old piece of pantyhose/stocking (fine material, anyway) and strap it with an elastic band to the hose part of your vacuum cleaner. Suck up the beads - the fabric stops them going down the tube. When you have a decent amount sucked onto the fabric, roll the fabric over the rubber band so you have a neat little parcel. too cool, huh!!
Kewel! Will try that next time, thanks!
