Resist dyed silk

This is the resist dyed silk georgette I did yesterday to make a reversible scarf. I am pleased with the complexity of the dyeing, which may not show up too much on these pictures. Now for the tricky bit of sewing the pieces together! I definitely like silk georgette for scarves and for dyeing, it takes the dye much better than habutoi.

Hi Maurine
What a fabulous blog, so many different things to look at! you're one talented lady, and thank you so much for putting a name to the silk georgette I've used since my college days and had totally forgotten the name. It also prints beautifully on the computer if treated with Bubblejet and ironed onto freezer paper.
I love your tatting decorations, it's a technique I much admire but have never quite got to grips with , like crochet!!
