Carolyn, I just ironed fabric and yarns and sequins between clear plastic, I think it must have been a thin plastic bag, like supermarkets give for vegetables.
This surely is a beautiful piece...thanks for the tip on how it was done. I think more than a few of us are likely to try this.
Ummm! Mick, but protect iron and ironing board with Gladbake paper otherwise sticky mess ensues........
