I received the next round of this round robin the other day. Lots of lovely work on it already. I thought the navy patterned fabric at the bottom of the block was rather overpowering, so decided to cover it with an ouster bed, I found some freshwater pearls to add to it to give it an air of authenticity and used mother of pearl buttons for the oyster shells.
